Aventura Clothing – Hadley Ripstop Pants and Maribel Thermal Burnout Tee

I love it when I find versatile items that I can wear on the trail and that are so cute I can then wear them out to dinner, since I am just that lazy to cook after a day of hiking. How about you? Do you love versatile clothing that can be worn anywhere?

Well…Aventura Clothing has just those pieces – adorable tops and bottoms perfect for on the go, adventurous moms.

I’ve had the opportunity to wear a few pieces from Aventura and I have to say they are comfy, versatile and quite cute.

During our trip to Zion a couple weeks ago I brought along the Hadley Organic Cotton Ripstop Pants and the Maribel Burnout Thermal Tee.

The Hadley pants are super comfortable. Although they are cotton they performed well. They kept me warm on the cool hikes, didn’t snag or tear when I happened to run into a few branches, considering I wasn’t watching where I was walking,¬† (Yeah, that happens often.) and the wide flat wasitband didn’t bunch or dig in while wearing the waist strap of my backpack. The rise is a standard rise, 2-3 fingers below your waist. Not too low and not up to your neck. Remember those high waisted pants? Haha…so glad they are gone!

The pants are a bit long on me since I am only 5’1 (shorty here) and the inseam is 32′ , but with them being a straight leg cut and wearing hiking boots I didn’t notice.

They have a zip fly and a double button closure, which I am not fond of. You know the button inside the waist band? I don’t like those. I always have a hard time buttoning them and I don’t really know their purpose. Do you? Maybe I should ask someone over at Aventura.

I love the big back pockets. My iphone fits perfectly (where I tend to carry it a lot) and there is a small flap on the top of the pocket that holds my phone securely in place. They probably weren’t thinking about that function when they designed the pockets, so bonus!

These Hadley Organic Cotton Ripstop Pants would be a great addition to any wardrobe.

When I was choosing colors for my outfit I didn’t choose very wisely, in my opinion. I should have chosen a more colorful top to go with the Hadley pants so I wasn’t so blah looking. Even though the color wasn’t a great choice for me the Maribel Thermal Burnout Tee was a wonderful choice.

This long sleeve tee is cozy and warm and with it being 50% polyester and 50% cotton it provides some wicking while on the trail.

Even though it has a burnout print all over, it isn’t very see through. You could wear a tank or camisole underneath for extra coverage.

The Maribel Thermal Burnout Tee is a slim fit and the length is just right. Some shirts tend to be super long on me but this one is perfect. I have noticed the sizing in Aventura Clothing runs a bit big. I wear an x-small and some of their x-small shirts are a little big. This shirt is an x-small and after a wash and a dry it fits just right.

This outfit was perfect to go from hiking all day to a nice dinner out. Love that!
