Chaco’s Paradox Eco-Tread and Giveaway!

A little while ago J-Man had the opportunity to try out some Chaco sandals. To my surprise Chaco has shoes available in toddler sizes. I’ve worn Chaco for years but never thought to look for J-Man. (The ZX/1 Yampa sandal is my choice.) Their kids line starts at toddler size 10 and goes up and they have other styles besides sandals. Boots and shoes are part of the collection.

The sandals that J-Man has been wearing are the Paradox Eco-Tread. I think of these sandals as some what of a hybrid between shoes and sandals. The top of the foot and toes are covered but the back is open with a strap. It’s a perfect sandal to wear with or without socks. Coming into the cool Fall weather J-man has been sporting socks with them. We are almost twinsies when I wear socks with my ZX/1 Yampa sandals and he loves that. He’s always wanting to be like Mom and Dad.

We all know it is key that J-man is able to put his shoes/sandals/boots on by himself and with the Paradox Eco-Tread he has no problem. The back strap slips up around his heel no problem and a slight tug tightens the strap around his heel.

These sandals are versatile enough for J-Man to wear bike riding, on the playground, during short hikes and to school.

They have enough grip on the soles, which is 25% recycled material, to provide good traction and allow him to continue climbing and scrambling on whatever he finds.

A great feature of theย Paradox Eco-Tread is that they are machine washable. Cleaning them up can’t get any easier than that. Let them play in creeks, mud and dirt and then toss them into the washing machine. That’s a true toddler sandal.

  3. Fall camping in the southern Utah deserts is wonderful with the kiddos. The kids don’t burn up in the heat of summer everyone sleeps better!

  7. My daughter and I love to do crafts with leaves. Dry them, and put them in our windows, make a banner out of them, create animals on paper out of them or just look at them and compare them with each other. You can never go wrong with admiring the wonderful colors that leaves can produce.
