I love this time of year when you get to look back and reminisce…see what adventures were taken, firsts that were achieved and mishaps that occurred over the year.
It also helps me set goals for the following year, add to my bucket list and check off my to-do list.
Here’s a month by month review of 2012:
January:
First hike of 2012.
J-Man and Bedge inside the Eye of the Whale in Arches National Park – Moab, UT.
February:
Dinosaur bones imbedded and fossilized in rock.
March:
Two events occurred this month.
A dream was realized and The Edge Gallery opened.
J-Man turned 3!
April:
J-Man’s first time hiking the Hidden Valley trail on his own two feet.

May:
My birthday mountain bike ride with Bedge.
June:
J-Man hiked his first slot canyon - Little Wild Horse in the San Rafael Swell, Utah.
July:
Picnic Dinner and a bike ride at Fisher Towers – Moab, UT.
August:
Our 1-Day-Turned-Into-4-Days camping trip.
September:
J-Man running his first race.
October:
Good times a bouncin’ at the pumpkin patch.
November:
J-Man visiting Zion National Park for the first time.
Showing me his best dinosaur imitation.
December:
J-Man snowshoeing for the first time.
Making his own path as always.
There you have it. The Edge families 2012 adventures summed up in 12 pictures.
Now it’s time to make a 2013 list of adventures and firsts to accomplish, not only for J-Man but for us, too.

That pic was taken north of Moab at the dinosaur trail. I’ll take ya there sometime with the kids.
What an inspiring year in review! I’m so impressed with all that your little tyke can do! Love the slot canyon shot. This was the first year that I actually mapped out a plan month-by-month for our travels and adventure. Since we already had some trips planned, I wanted to see where the holes where, so I know where we can fit in more adventure
