Gift Guide for Adventurous Adults

Yesterday I shared my gift ideas for adventurous tykes, so here’s my gift ideas for adventurous adults.

For the gal in your life:

1. You can never go wrong with ANYTHING from Ibex. LOVE their stuff! Here is a review on one of my favorite hoodies of all time: Carrie FZ Hoody.

2. Every gal needs some sort of bag or wallet. Overland Equipment has great durable bags suited for the outdoor lifestyle.

3. SkinFare. Give her something natural to help protect, nourish and hydrate her skin. It can be used all over the body.

4. Want to get her a top, bottoms, accessories or outerwear. Look to Aventura Clothing for something perfect.

5.  Hi-Tec Timaru Down Hooded Jacket. This is a super comfy, warm and stylish jacket. Here’s my review on the Timaru Hooded jacket.

6. Custom headlamp from Princeton Tec. Let her customize her headlamp with a variety of colors.

7. Sunglasses. Any brand that has 100% UV protection. It’s so important to protect your eyes from the sun.

8.  Nuu Muu. This dress is great for running, hiking, traveling or strolling around town. Here is my review on the Ruu-Muu.

For the guy in your life:

1. Icebreaker has ideal clothing for hiking, running and biking.

2.  Double Nest Eno Hammock. Perfect for relaxing around camp or in the backyard.

3. Geigerigg pressurized hydration pack. Great pack for hiking and biking. No more trying to suck water when you’re out of breath. Here’s my review on the Rig 500 pressurized hydration pack.

4. Climb On! This cream isn’t just for climbers. It is perfect for anyone who has dry cracked skin.

5. Camelbak All Clear Water Bottle. Great for the backcountry. No filter needed to purify your water.

6.  Wanna splurge? Here you go: Maggiolina Roof Top Tent. This is a fun, comfortable and easy to use tent.

7. Snow Peak titanium mug with hot lips and titanium utensil set. Both are light weight and prefect for backpacking.

8. Guide books and maps.

Items we use that we think others will love:

Nature’s Coffe Kettle. Easy and yummy coffee while camping or backpacking.

Big Agnes double wide Dream Island sleeping bag. This is a wonderful, cozy and warm bag. All 3 of us fit in it perfectly.

Mr. Heater Buddy. I’ve never used a tent heater in my life, but after our trip to Zion and using it for the first time, I am hooked. Made a huge difference in the 20 degree weather. Certainly not for the hardcore folks.

Biolite stove. No gas is needed. Only wood. AND charge electronics while cooking. Pretty sweet, huh?

Mountainsmith Modular Hauler SystemWe take these cubes with us anytime we camp or travel. They are indestructible and hold a lot. If you like to be organized these are a must.

Toasty Tush. Keep your tush warm on those chilly evenings with one of these. They really do work.

Road Id. Love this idea and I wear my every time I run. J-Man has one for hiking. You just never know.

Fire starter nuggets. Perfect for stockings. If you want to start a fire quickly these nuggets will do the trick. Love them!

Anything here on your Christmas list this year? What are you crossing your fingers and toes for?
