Who knew sidewalk chalk could be so fun?
Today’s Friday Fun Day is all about creativity.
All you need is some sidewalk chalk and a sidewalk, drive way or concrete slab. Anywhere that’s not prohibited from being colored on.
Using the sidewalk chalk let your imagination run wild. What can you create or what games can you play? Draw a city, a farm or bugs. Draw a hopscotch for older tykes. Play tic tac toe or hangman. Draw anything your heart desires.
With J-Man I used the chalk as a learning tool. We did shapes, numbers, letters and I added in a snail and butterfly for fun. He had a great time coloring over everything and making his own designs.
Yep, it’s a triangle
Creating a masterpiece
It’s fun for adults, too
So much fun!
It can be a bit messy
All done
Have a great Friday Fun Day!
Do you and your tyke play with sidewalk chalk? What creative ways have you used it?

We love playing with sidewalk chalk! We created a bug garden earlier this week. We also like spray painting them with water bottles to get wet and messy!
Love the idea of spray painting with water bottles. We will have to do that. A bug garden sounds great.
Thanks for sharing.
We just played with sidewalk chalk outside today, we soaked it in water first!

I’m jealous you have such a large space for sidewalk chalk, we only have a small porch and sidewalk
I haven’t thought of wetting the sidewalk chalk. That will be a must for this summer. Thanks for sharing and great pics!
